The Chinese city of Shantao is known for its production of underwear, which gets delivered all over the world. As a photographer, I found myself in a beautiful city, surrounded by curious locals.

I got to discover not only the city but also a small village close to it. In which, for many inhabitants, I was one of the first westerners they’ve ever seen. Truely a grateful experience.
