Toy World is a series of photos created with special lenses from the last century, shot with tilt/shift mechanics to achieve a toy-like visual effect.

Combined with the aesthetics of vintage colors and carefully picked locations, with saturating colors and contrast elements, creates a unique look reminiscences of toy-models of cityscapes.

This scene was shot on a sunny autumn day in Busan, South-Korea. What inspired me was the incredible cityscape in the background, the police-car adding to the scene and then the man in a business suit walking straight through the warm sunlight.

A combination where many elements come together to set an interesting composition that invites the viewer to either linger or just enjoy the colorful and bright colors, or find themselves wondering what they’ll discover within the frame.
